***UPDATED FOR ENGLISH ILLITERATE***
As you should know by now (I reported it below this post), there are two hidden tracks on the new CD, Dusk and Summer.
The only way to play it is to rewind track one to -9:24.
But how about recording it?
The solutions after the jump.
***make sure your CD-Rom and CD Player are able to access Index 00
Windows only.
It is really recommended that you just wait for someone to do it for you if you don’t know what you’re doing.
Software way
*****UPDATE*****
I finally got a test CD with a hidden track in it. I successfully recorded it.
If you’re CD Drive is capable of reading the hidden track, then with EXACT AUDIO COPY it should be red on the track list. just hit SHIFT + F5 and save.
————————————————-
Windows
- 1) Download Exact Audio Copy from http://www.exactaudiocopy.de
- 2) Install and Run the program
- 3) Go to menu Action > Copy Range > and adjust
The Coaster Factory
- – If that didn’t work, try:
- 3) First, go to Action > Detect Gaps
- 4) Then go to Action > Append Gaps to Next Track
This method will append the hidden tracks to Track 1 which is Don’t Wait. You will have to split it.
- 5) Check here for more help on settings
- 6) THE END.
Mac (not verified)
- 1) Insert CD
- 2) Drag Track 0 (the hidden track, name depends) to desktop
- 3) If all went well, it should have been automatically converted to an AIFF file
- 4) Convert to any file type with iTunes
- 5) THE END.
If the above steps didn’t work, then this is the alternative.
The alternative way
- 1) Required: CD Player, Line-In/Out Cable, Recording Software: ie, Musicmatch, Sound Recorder (included in every Windows)
- 2) Connect the line out cable to the CD player and the other to the microphone or line-in of your computer.
- 3) Make sure you set the recording source to Line-In or Microphone
- 4) Press play on the CD player, click record on your program.
- 5) Toast yourself as you just accomplished ripping the hidden track. THE END.
