So, where should you get Dusk and Summer?

First, the question: CD vs Download?

DOWNLOAD:
The most popular download service is iTunes. A whole album is $9.99 but you can only play it on an iPod or your computer. Most download services have DRM and limited in how you can handle the songs.

Bottom Line: Ease and convenience but device specific.

CD:
For myself, I always buy the CD and then rip songs to transfer to my PSP. Most of the time, the CDs I buy are $9.99 for the first week or so at BEST BUY.

Bottom Line: You can buy the CD and rip it and transfer to any device.

WINNER: CD
For all the freedom you get with a CD you should get it for the same price as a download.

Now, where should I get Dusk and Summer?

If you go the download route:

• iTunes has a bonus Live Acoustic version of Stolen.
• Walmart has an exclusive interview when you download at their online music service.

For the CD route:

• Best Buy: $6.99 w/ Student ID, $9.99 w/o Student ID.
• Circuity City: Free sampler of John Ralston’s music.
• Target: Bonus DVD that includes 3 live acoustic songs and an interview.
• Tower: Limited Edition button pack with pictures of Dusk and Summer.
• Local Indie Stores*: Limited Edition button pack.

So where should you buy? I say go to Target and get the Bonus DVD for $8.99.
